August at the Wead Library

As summer wanes on the calendar, it is finally heating up weather-wise. We have waited long and through many rainy days to arrive at sunshine enough to provide those lazy days at area swimming holes, lakes and rivers. What better time to grab a book!

The library is fairly quiet this month except for our VERY BIG DAY, Patron Appreciation Day.  Please plan on stopping by on Thursday, August 10th, from 12-6:00PM.  Lots of surprises planned for our patrons, new and old, young and not so young. There will be authors, music, craft demos, food and more. We appreciate all of you and look forward to showing you just how much. We promise a fun and interesting afternoon.
