June and the reading is easy……….

With so many new offerings finding a good summer read is quite easy right now. Did you know our staff all have differing tastes in their reading? They also communicate with patrons every day and get tremendous feedback on what is good or not so good to read as well as the whys and why nots. Please feel free to ask for suggestions if you are not sure what you would like to read next. We are always here and ready to help!

***************************

Thank you to all our patrons who helped make the recent Summer Book Sale at the Wead Library our best ever! We have so much appreciation for the many who helped. That  includes the teens who generously gave of their time to help set up our Book Sale. There are the wonderful ladies who work the sale and share their smiles with our Book Sale visitors. We thank all the patrons who have donated the hundreds of books we are able to sell. Another very special thank you goes  to all those who willingly brought their books up to our third floor sales area.  It was a HUGE  help. For Tom Geoghan and his beautiful donated artwork, thanks and appreciation are sent his way. It wouldn’t be a great book sale without Tom’s lovely artworks.  Thank you , most of all, to our loyal patrons, for making the sale a success once again. You are so appreciated.
