“When March comes in like a lion it goes out like a lamb.”  That is certainly the case in our area. High winds and weather extremes are rather “lion-ish”, wouldn’t you say? March also brings a new schedule of events and activities at the Wead Library and we want to share them all with you.

Our Story Hours continue on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday and Thursday mornings. The groups are great fun for little ones  with crafts, book reading and games. For more information simply click on the “Childrens” tab above. Feel free to call us at 518-483-5251 if you have any further questions. Groups are age specific to ensure the  most fun experience.

Our Friday Night at the Movies continues every Friday night this month. A great lineup is planned and it offers wholesome family entertainment. Movies begin at 6:00PM and are always over before closing at 8:00PM.

Every Friday this month from 2-4:00pm, Grandma Helen is here to read to your little ones, do some coloring and just offer the best hugs. Bring your children by to meet Grandma Helen and to enjoy her company.

Tech Talk continues for those of you who have devices and are bewildered by all they can do for you. Tech Talk happens every Wednesday, is free, as are all our programs, and is on a first come first serve basis. Recent topics have dealt with Facebook, IPhone group contacts and learning about apps. Have tech-y questions? Bring them to the Wead Library on Wednesdays from 2:00 to 3:00PM.
