Fall in the Adirondacks is always stunning but everywhere we go we hear how this year’s foliage is particularly brilliant. I totally agree. I’ve even heard how it has something to do with the drought people in the region are currently facing. That could be, but whatever the cause, it is lovely and a reminder that as we change seasons one more time, life goes on beautifully.

Another thing that happens each fall is our Annual Fall Book Sale. We would like to thank our patrons for making this a success, once again. Thank you for all your kind donations and thank you for coming in and sharing in the excitement of the sale. A special thanks to local artist Tom Geoghan for his donation of beautiful artwork that we were able to sell during the sale. Tom has always been a generous supporter of the Wead Library and we are so appreciative of his kindness.

We have many new books for you this week, including three new biographies. There are cookbooks, books on 1960s television shows and so much more. Please drop by or click in the right sidebar on Log in, search and renew to reserve any of these new arrivals. Here are our latest arrivals.
