Art at the library!

original work by Roma Czerepuszko

The Wead Library  is excited to be partnering with Foothills Arts Society this upcoming Saturday as part of their first annual Studio Tour. The Library will be hosting  an exhibit of the work of Malone artist, Roma Czerepuszko. Roma paints all subjects with a realistic eye but is particularly drawn to animals. Her paintings  of blue jays, cows, and many other animals are positively delightful but her skill in other subjects is on display as well. This exhibit of Roma’s work is beautifully staged on the third floor of the Wead Library and the public is welcome to attend, for free, on Saturday, September 19th, from 10:00 to 5:00 o’clock. Library services will end at 3:00PM as they normally do on a Saturday but the library will remain open with access to the exhibit after that time through the Park Street side door entrance.

Maps will be on hand for the full artist’s tour where you can see them at work in their studios or in other exhibit spaces. This is an exciting new event for the village of Malone and we do hope you come to the exhibit and do the tour. We thank the Foothills Art Society for bringing the work of the many talented artists in our area into the public spotlight. We hope to see you Saturday. If you would care for any further information on the Czerepuszko exhibit here at the library  or the tour please call at 518-483-5251.
