The Winter doldrums are not setting in at the Wead Library!  We have a great schedule lined up for January that includes movies and tech fun!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid showings will be on Friday, January 3rd at both 2:00 and 6:00PM to accommodate our out of school children.

Black Beauty is the movie for Friday, January 10th at 6:00PM.

On January 17th at 6:00PM we will be showing The Princess Bride.

Friday, January 24th at 6:00PM we will have a movie with a bit more grownup flavor. It is also a great pic for vintage movie buffs. Roman Holiday stars Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn.

And on January 31st we will end the month with the classic, “Charlotte’s Webb” at 6:00PM.

On Tuesday, January 7th our expert, Eilleen Cody, will be back with another of her very popular Tech Tuesdays. She will be answering any and all questions regarding your tech devices. If you received a new tablet or phone or other device for Christmas and have questions, Eilleen is the one to help you out. She will be in the library that day from 1:00 to 4:00PM on a first come, first serve basis.

We enter another digital realm with  our first ever Digital Camera Class, again with Eilleen. Registration is required for this class. Bring your camera, memory cards, remotes, whatever you have questions on. The library will provide lap tops for use along with Eileen’s expertise. The class date is January 14th from 1:00 to 4:00PM.

Our tech classes are free and we hope you attend!  Eilleen’s classes are very popular so sign up is necessary for the digital camera class. You can do that on the phone if you prefer. Our number is 483-5251.

The Wead Library Book club meets this coming Thursday, the 9th of January at 3:00PM to discuss “The Great Gatsby”.

A reminder: The library will be closed on Monday,  January 20th, Martin Luther King day.

The Malone Writer’s Group will meet on January 4th and January 18th at 11:ooAM.

Our annual winter book sale will be on February 7th and 8th so plan now for donations and shopping!
