Movies and Books!

Movie Night this week will be on Friday, November 8th at 6:00pm. Our presentation will be “Babe”, perfect for families with little ones but loved by adults as well. You can bring refreshments as long as drinks are covered and all of our movies are FREE. We hope to see you on our third floor Friday night for all the fun.

The Wead Library will be closed on Monday, November 11, so we may all honor those who have served.

We have three great new biographies to feature this week:

My Story by Elizabeth Smart

Taking the Stand by Alan Dershowitz

Balance by Nik Wallenda

All of these look to be great reads on contemporary individuals here in America.

New Non-Fiction:

Constellation of Genius 1922 by Kevin Jackson

Reign of Terror by Diane Savitch

Days of Fire, Bush and Cheney in the White House by Peter Baker

New Fiction:

The Sisters Weiss by Naomi Ragen

Though Mountains Fall by Dale Cramer, large print

The Residue Years by Mitchell S. Jackson

These books can be reserved by either stopping by the Library, calling us on the phone or clicking on “Log – in, Search and Renew” in the right sidebar. Have your library card handy and remember that your pin number is the last four digits of your home phone that you have on file with the library.
